Is this a full time business or a side-gig?

We are a local, family-owned business and it’s full-time. We treat it as a professional business and have many years of professional business management in doing so.

Can I rely on you to show up?

100%.

Funnily enough, this subject has been commented upon by customers numerous times, (in our favor). Yes, if we make an appointment with you, we’ll be there.

What equipment do you use? (a.K.A. Are you going to show up with a Lowes pressure washer?)

We use top-of-the-line commercial equipment:

  • Hotsy pressure washers with boilers (heated water is what defines “power washing”) w/ 525 gallon water tank
  • Downstream injectors to allow the measured use of cleaning agents in whatever solution we are using w/ 65 gallon dedicated tank
  • Dedicated standalone softwash systems for roof washing w/ 50 gallon dedicated cleaning solution tank
  • Commercial accessories such as wands and rotary surface cleaners
  • We also carry additional cleaning solutions with trailer-mounted transfer pump for refilling our primary tanks
  • Our equipment is serviced on schedule. And we carry spares of all accessorial tools & fittings.
Do you use bleach?

Yes, we do use sodium hypochlorite (aka bleach) in many applications, but we do so responsibly, and in as diluted a concentration as the job will allow. And, it’s not the only answer – it’s only one of a number of available chemical cleaner options.

When we use bleach we ALWAYS:

  • Wet plants in the immediate area prior to starting work
  • Rinse all areas we’ve washed thoroughly with water after cleaning
  • Rinse plants in the immediate area

We prefer to invest more time and less chemicals to ensure the best long-term result for your house. We use only diluted concentrations of sodium hypochlorite but, as you can see from our gallery, the results are exceptional!

What is soft washing?

Soft washing relies primarily on the effect of chemicals (particularly bleach) to clean, minimizing operator time, and minimizing the use of pressure (typically using approx. 60-70 psi).

As it’s the industry buzz-term right now you may think that soft washing is the only low-pressure option, but that’s not the case. The output pressure from a pressure washing wand is largely affected by the choice of nozzle, not just the capacity of the pressure washer itself.

Downstreaming uses about the same pressure as your garden hose (so nothing as aggressive as most pressure washers’ max. capacity) but adds in cleaning agents, and at a much more diluted rate than soft washing. As a result, it takes more time for the operator but uses less harsh chemicals and is kinder to your home.

Soft washing is only one option available to a professional pressure washer to achieve the objective.

What's included in the price?

It does not include detached garage/carport, fencing, surface cleaning (driveway/patio/walkway) or roof. It includes washing with a cleaning solution and rinsing with water afterwards.
